From our founder
We run our own studio on it. Here's what changed.
JT FallonJT FallonFounder of OPER8 and owner of Studio Hudson, a ceramics studio in Hudson, MA
I own my studio now. I don't work for it.
It gives me back 10+ hours a week. That's a full workday I used to spend in my inbox.
My phone stays on do-not-disturb, and customers still hear back within a minute.
I run Studio Hudson from my phone. Most days, my whole job is replying YES or NO.
A late cancel used to mean an empty wheel. Now the waitlist fills it before I even see the text.
It asks for a review after every class. We've added 40 five-star reviews since.
One in four workshop customers now signs up for a full course.
Every ad is judged by cost per booked customer, not clicks. Ours runs about $30.
Our first audit found $8,400 in ad spend with no tracking behind it.
Pickup emails used to eat an hour every week. Now they go out the day the kiln's unloaded.
It costs less than a part-time front desk, and it's never called out sick.
It's never offered a refund I didn't approve. When it doesn't know something, it asks.
How it works
Everything comes in. Only what needs you reaches you.
Your client success lead learns how you run things and sets everything up around it. AI agents do the routine work inside your rules. Your lead checks anything that needs judgment. You get the rest in one text.
Example, Oak & Kiln: 8 things come in. 5 are done inside the owner's rules, 2 are checked by the client success lead, and 1 reaches the owner as one text: Send the $65 party quote? YES or NO.

Send a voice memo between customers. We turn it into rules every reply follows, and your lead checks each one.
We text your waitlist and the regulars who are due and opted in to texts. The first yes gets the spot.
Once the carriers approve your texting, a missed call gets a text back, usually within a minute. We offer times, they pick one, it's booked.

Prices checked Oct 2026: apps and AI agents from Wix, Meta, Yelp, Jobber, Lindy, GoHighLevel and Podium; answering services and assistants from Smith.ai (30 to 120 calls) and Wing. Front desk: BLS median pay for receptionists (May 2025), plus payroll taxes and benefits at BLS's June 2026 rate for office and administrative support jobs (wages are 68.7% of what an employer pays). The order, from you do the work to done for you, is our read of how much each one does for you.

We use 1Password to keep every login safe.
Wherever we can, you add us as a user instead of sharing a password. For the rest, you share one 1Password vault with us, in your name, holding only the logins we need. Nothing goes over text or email.
1Password is a trademark of its owner. We use it; we're not partners.

Example
Questions from pottery studios.
Straight answers. If yours isn't here, bring it to the call.
Usually. We connect directly to common studio booking tools and work alongside the rest. On the free call we'll check yours.
Do you know how a studio actually runs?
Yes. We run our own pottery studio, Studio Hudson. Kiln days, open studio, private parties and first-timers are our week too.
I'm a small studio. Is this worth it?
Run the missed-call calculator first. It shows what your leaks are worth each month. If the numbers don't support it, we'll tell you.
Do you run ads for workshops and date nights?
Yes, on Grow and Scale, inside a budget you set. We start with the free fixes first, because ads work better once seats stop leaking.
Why is it worth the price?
Because we do the work, not just hand you tools. Every lead answered, cancels refilled from your waitlist, past customers brought back and, on Grow and Scale, your ads run, with a real person checking it. A front desk hire alone costs about $4,611 a month once payroll taxes and benefits are in: $3,168 at median pay (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2025), and benefits are about 31% of what employers pay for office jobs like it (BLS, June 2026). Every plan costs less, and it keeps going nights and weekends. If the bookings we bring in don't cover your monthly fee within 60 days, we keep working free until they do.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Monthly plans run on a simple month-to-month agreement: stop any time, and your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for. You keep everything: your ads, your Google listing, your number, your customer lists and your website, and we remove every connection the same day. If you'd rather pay for a year up front, you get about 2 months free and no setup fee, and the year is paid for in advance.
How does your promise work?
Two promises, the same for every business. First, bookings worth your monthly fee within 60 days, or we keep working free until you have them. We count the bookings we can trace to our work: missed calls we texted back, cancellations we refilled and past customers we brought back, plus bookings from your ads on Grow and Scale, each at your average price. Second, you're live on day 1, and five jobs are running for you by day 14: email and DM replies, reminders and rebooking, review asks and replies, win-back emails, and your morning report. If they aren't, you don't pay for your first month. Your side is small: finish your onboarding questions by day 10, connect your tools, and answer approval texts within 24 hours.
Who are Rosa, Theo and the others?
Our AI agents, one per job: Rosa handles customer service, Theo scheduling, Iris reviews and Nadia retention, bringing past customers back. Owen runs your advertising on Grow and Scale, and Walt operations on Scale. They are not people, and their faces are generated pictures, not photos of staff. The lead's photo is a generated example too. They work only inside the rules you sign off on. Your client success lead is the person: your one point of contact, who turns what you ask for into work for the agents, checks their work and answers for it.
Will my customers know it isn't me?
Yes, and that's on purpose. Replies go out under your business name, in your voice, with your real prices and policies. A new conversation starts by saying it's your business's AI assistant, and anyone can ask for a person: your lead steps in. Some states require that, and it's the honest way to do it.
What if it gets something wrong?
It only states prices, hours and policies you've confirmed. If it isn't sure, it asks. From day 1 your lead checks replies before they go out, and anything new is always checked by a person. Spending over your cap, discounts, refunds and price changes wait for your yes. Every action is logged with the reason, and you can switch any job to Ask me or Off. If something does slip, we stop it, tell you the same day, fix it, and add a rule so it doesn't happen again.
Do you work with studios outside Massachusetts?
Yes. We work with pottery and craft studios across the US, by text, email and video calls.
Bring one problem.Leave with 3 fixes.
